Know His Name....Yireh/ Provider

Each of these names of God is especially beautiful in sterling silver, uniquely designed by using the chasing tool technique.  This dates back to the 3rd century B.C. , so is not often seen in jewelry.  The design, or Hebrew letters for these pieces, has to first be drawn onto the silver.  I just use a pencil.

Depending on the shape of the design, tools with straight or curved edges are then held in the left hand.  The right hand holds the hammer, while the silver is on a flat steel.  It takes practice to gain skill with this, but the ability to apply different designs is endless and virtually impossible any other way. Each piece has variations, due to this and the lovely handmade look and quality results.

The depth which can be added to pieces takes place in adding the repousse, or raised look.  This can also be reversed, or lowered, which fills in the letters and makes them more pronounced.

So now back to Yireh or Provider.  I am not a theologian, but am only speaking from my heart to share the amazing ways The Lord is in my life actively.  The scripture is Genesis 22:14 where God tested Abraham by telling him to sacrifice his promised son, Isaac, son of God's covenant.  How could this be, but The Lord is God who has already seen our need and has provided....the catch is that it is in His timing and not ours.

This can get pretty 'exciting' to say the least!  And my situation was nothing like Abraham's, but then he is the father of our faith in the God of Israel and Creator of the universe.  I am just me....but that doesn't mean I am some cool cucumber in every situation.  No, lately I had some pretty major expenses and still have more with my abode and the KLJ workshop coming up.  So far, it has all been provided for and I am trusting in the faithful great I AM to do far beyond my expectations.

There is always enough and more to be a blessing to others, so everything keeps going around, smile!  The key is: don't be anxious and don't keep a closed fist.  Trust Him! We are only taking care of what  He trusts us with, be willing to give it up, so He can give it back or do something much better. This can be what we possessions, dreams, whatever...

I still haven't had time to take those beautiful pictures of each of these Names of God pieces for the website. Yikes...but it is coming to the top of my list. Then you can pick out what is speaking to your heart, start your KLJ collection, or make it grow!  Thanks for joining me here at the KLJ Blogspot! Until the next time, much shalom to you!

Know His Name....Ruach/ Spirit

Every morning, during my  quiet time with The Lord, I sing Psalm 91 and branch off as His Spirit leads.  This Psalm is our covering in 'any' way we need it, totally profound.  Since I have been working on the Names of God KLJ collection, I have especially been focusing on verse 14 of this Psalm.

Because he hath set his love upon attached himself to me, therefore will I deliver him shall I slip him away: I shall set shall loft him on high, because he hath known my name.

What a powerful and indescribable Name above all Names, which we come to know ever deeper in our lives, as we experience how He meets us way beyond our greatest expectations.  He simply is not in our 'box', smile!!

Ruach of Zechariah 4:6  This is the word of The Lord unto Zerubbabel/ or to you and I, saying, not by might/valour, nor by power/force, but by my spirit, saith The Lord of Hosts/ Yah Veh Sabaoth!

So many things to accomplish, both practically and heart vision, but nothing results from my effort, unless I yield myself to The Lord...invite the Spirit to lead me and enjoy the 'ride'.  Then what a difference it makes.  At times, I find that I must give up my own plans for the day...and what needed to happen takes place.  At the end of the day, I scratch my head in wonder asking, " How did you do that, Lord?"

Our battle is in the spiritual realm and the victory is only by His overcoming Spirit.  All I really want is to be hidden in Him, so He can shine through, reaching this world with His love and power...bringing His life and ways to be known...yes, His awesome name.

Names of God Collection....Roi/ Shepherd

May 28, 2014

The latest KLJ pieces (www.facebook.com/KingLivesJewelry), just quickie  iPhone pictures to keep current.  Maybe you have already had a look.  I still need to take the good ones for the website, which will also go on Etsy and into the face book album 'Names of God'.

Hebrew letters are visually beautiful, a language full of meaning.  I wanted to do some of the Names of God, because they become intimately personal to us.  He has revealed them long ago in Scripture, but they never change, since God is forever the same.  As we trust Him, The Lord will reveal more of Himself to us in ways we must never forget.

Roi, My Shepherd  Psalm 23.... The Lord cares for His flocks of sheep all over this world, yet He is 'my' personal Shepherd.  Just ponder that for awhile... I have heard that sheep are not the most intelligent creatures. They can run off and come into dangerous, dicey situations, or get lost.....sound like anyone you know, smile?  The shepherd will find them and carry them home.  He watches over them protectively, keeps an eye on their condition....

How much more do we need to remember that we have a Shepherd, who is keeping an eye on us, as though we were His only little sheep...yet at the same time He has no favorites and loves each one as though it was His only, wanting to hold us close, securely. How can He do this for all of us at the same time? ...the magnanimity of it all.

More names later, time to ZZZ...

Welcome to the King Lives Jewelry Blog...

We have been making jewelry for 'many years', but there have been amazing changes in style, technique and message.  It has been a life adventure, continuing each day.  Feel free to subscribe and keep posted.  Believe me, it will be fun!

If you look on the KLJ website, you will see that each piece has a message attached to it in the description and a Scripture Scroll, telling something about how amazing it is to have a relationship with the Living God, Jesus or Yeshua (His Hebrew name)...there is only One, God of Israel and Creator of the universe!  The pictures are all taken with stones or ancient pottery shards from trips to Israel, which give the interesting, authentic look.

Many of the KLJ pieces relate to the Hebrew Roots of this amazing relationship with Him,  open to every person in the world.  Yes, and that is the ultimate reason for King Lives Jewelry's existence, because many people still do not know...when I found out, I declared, "Why didn't anyone ever tell me this before!"  Finally, I had peace in my heart and most profoundly, all of my past record of indelible 'black marks' from breaking God's Laws, was totally wiped out by the Covenant Blood of The Lamb. I was a new creation.  There is no other way.

So King Lives Jewelry is valuable art, beautiful and has a purpose.  I am excited to blog more about it.  ...endless pieces to make....coming up will be some of the names of God in Hebrew, some authentic ancient Israeli coins, gorgeous beads from South Africa, and on, and on...all made with sterling silver, some copper and lately some mixed metal chains with interesting locks.  I chased the Hebrew letter Shin (meaning El Shaddai) on the piece which the lobster lock attaches to.
